Other Web sites
Since moving to this Web address, I have yet to test all the links. Sorry! I am strictly an amateur about such computer matters, but if a link is broken, I suggest you copy its Web address and paste it into the "Address" box for "navigation" at the top of your screen. That usually works.
Few, if any, of the groups and people referred to below are fully Leapist, but I still generally recommend them.
Other Web sites are mentioned throughout the text. Some of those are not on this page yet.
To tell me about a broken link or one which needs revision, to suggest links, or to request trading links, please write to me: korkyday@yahoo.com. To publish on a Web site from MasterWeb, the same company that formely hosted this one: ?BROKEN LINK OR NOT CURRENT ADDRESS www.masterweb.ca. Related to Breast-right Kelly's Attachment Parenting: www.kellymom.com. The Natural Child Project: www.naturalchild.com.
International Board Certified Laction Consultants (IBCLC) for individual help with breast-loving your child, etc. www.iblce.org, www.ilca.org.
La Leche League International. Attend your local LLL group meetings, open to all women and girls! Membership or payment not required. Membership includes a magazine subscription. Men may attend the conventions and a few other meetings. www.lalecheleague.org. Find also in many telephone directories. Mothering magazine. www.mothering.com and on newsstands. A rare gem among magazines. Almost all other magazines for parents appear neutral but are actually propaganda tools of the breastmilk substitute industry, the non-disposable nappy (diaper) industry, and their allies; they appear neutral about Breast-right, but subtly counter it.
Related to Joy-earned Secular Organization for Sobriety (SOS), non-religious www.secularsobriety.org. Rational Recovery (RR), non-religious www.rational.org. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), www.alcoholics-anonymous.org. Narcotics Anonymous (NA), www.na.org. Whether you are addicted or not, I recommend you learn about various addictions and recovery methods, such as the mutual help groups SOS, AA, and NA, and non-group methods such as RR. Concerning the 12-step groups such as AA and NA, I recommend you read, attend, and appreciate what they have to offer, but not believe the religious parts. They welcome atheists, however, as their only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking and using. AA and NA have meetings in almost every city and town in the USA and Canada. Many of them are open to the public, as long as anonymity is respected. Attendance is free. None of these groups have quite the perspective of this book, but are nevertheless very worthwhile to attend. You'll meet good people.
